In 2015, Turquoise LeJeune Parker, a teacher at Lakewood Elementary School founded the Mrs. Parkers Professors Foodraiser to make sure every child in her class had food when school was closed for winter break. Since then, this has grown from feeding every student in her one class to feeding every student at 12 elementary schools in Durham. Which is 4,800 bags. But none of this happens without volunteers, like us!

Let’s come together to have a great time for a great cause!

Dress comfortably and be sure to wear some paraphenelia:

-Jogging pants or jeans 

-Tennis shoes (no open toed shoes)

-Dress in layers

Invite a chapter soror and have them sign up, too!
